JM: How many different blocks were there?
Borata: who knows, and who gives a flying fuccccc!!!
Keith: There were no "blocks" as you see on TV.
Jon: I think medical wing, there were about 8 blocks.
Innocent17: MANY MANY
Acer: A gang. I was in wayside 318 and in cj 5600
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Albert: YES, IN LA COUNTY JAIL THEY HAVE 4000 FLOOR 5000 FLOOR 6000 FLOOR 9000 FLOOR PITCHESS THEY HAVE NORTH FACILTY SOUTH FACILITY EAST MAX AND SUPER MAX, AND THEN EACH FACILITY HAS DORMS LIKE 700 FLOOR 600 FLOOR ETC.
Borata: Cain and Abel
Jon: They were simply A, B, C, etc.
Innocent17: They're classified by numbers.
Acer: In wayside there's medium south, eastmax and supermax
Taz: When I was there some had names some just had numbers. There was soft tank for people who looked young or were picked on in general pop. Trustee dorms were 4500 I believer.
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Albert: WHEN I WAS THERE IN 2004 AND 2005 THEY HAD EVERYONE MIXED I HEARD IT IS DIFFERENT NOW SINCE THE RIOTS IN 2005-2006
Borata: bunch of hoodrats that belong with b PD. Cozakos, Voorhees, Hamilton of LAPD, Dihn, Gomez, Sindle, Sherman, Laufer, Ryburn, Ferguson!!!!!!!!!!
Jon: I believe the separation was by severity of crime, medical condition, homosexuality, and race.
Acer: Every inmate is on a scale that goes up to 9 . Being the most dangerous . Medium south goes up to medium 6. Eastmax high 6 high 7 high 8 supermax high 7 8 9
Taz: Juveniles, gay guys, snitches & those in need of protective custody, trustees.
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Albert: NICEST???? WORST THE DIRTYNESS AND THE GUARDS TREAT YOU MEAN LIKE T HE SCUM OF THE EARTH
Borata: none what so eeeeeeeeever!!!!@!
Jon: I didn't experience different blocks, but I would imagine the block I was in (classified gay and needing medication) was the "nicest" block. Meaning, it wasn't very aggressive and people kept to themselves.
Acer: Not a g*damn thing
Taz: Worst was 4 man cell on tier, Best was trustee dorm bathroom was separate from sleeping area, shower when you want.
